Smile for the best

There is only one thing in life which really makes you feel poorer- Love. Nothing can equate the joy and peace of a caring touch, a kind word and even a simple smile.

But when lives are too busy in planning, scheduling and rescheduling, we hardly come across anything like that.

What grieves me more is when I offer a smile, it seldom gets bounced back. Where are we heading too? To an era where smileys replace the real smiles on faces and robots with more emotions than humans.

Let us hope that this won't happen. Try to give a cheer, applause and a smile even when people ridicule you. Because you only know that the future is safe in the little acts of kindness that you do today without grudge.

If not now, when?

In the dark fathoms of a starless night
I heard a voice so mild
A bewildered cry, so distant yet near
I closed my eyes only to see the
Cruel face of humanity in me
I ignored the face and slept
Only to be woken up in the next morn
And see the glazing fire on the dailies.
Oh some  men exclaimed
I put a mark beside to punctuate it
And went to 'work'
I prayed, I ate and sang a song in tune
YET
My heart seemed to be heavy
For myself was built
Neither of stones nor by bricks
But by flesh,bones and blood
My hands asked in chorus to my
Tightly closed lips
If not now, when?

I may not know but it is life.

I may not know the nuances of life, the means to earn, or people's minds.

But I know that I should continue to live and give others life.

That's why mankind has never been able to survive from a single individual. It might be for an individual to dream, but it takes a society to fulfill it.

We are nothing but a mist without others.

The barking dog on the street might have blocked your ways, but certainly it has elevated your tolerance and patience.

The little insignificant thoughts, words and actions of today might speak volumes of history tomorrow.

Nothing is insignificant. Every spoken word, every hurt, praise or rejection,, every moments of victory or defeat, every new flower that blossoms in my way, and every little thorn which I might have to tread upon in my daily walk, all are significant just because they all make up my LIFE.

Simply your life is not what you live. It is the collection of all these significant  and silly things which you leave back in the world for others to remember.

Silence

Words and whispers are an extravaganza when silence can do a pretty job of communication even across miles.
Sometimes the best thoughts are never conveyed, on some instances words fail to comprehend the thoughts fully. And the result is the best admired literature of all times. That's the reason why we can still read 'in between the lines'.

Nostalgia

- it is the feeling that overwhelms your thoughts when you hear an old favorite song.
- it is the thought that comes to your mind when you reflect your childhood.
- it is the emotion you express when you meet a friend from the past.


- it is the want which makes one to live in the past.
- it is the desire to travel back in time to enjoy the refreshing moments again.

In short, it is the best and worst thing that can happen to a grown up.

I may not know of the future that is ahead for me, it may be better or worse. But definitely I love those nostalgic moments and am crossing every moment. May be just because I love the present times better when it is part of my past memoirs.
